If you become a part of our Sunshine Clean Indy family, by signing up for recurring cleanings, you will have less stress and be able to nominate a “worthy person” for a FREE one time cleaning.  This is our way of giving back to our community.  What is more encouraging than coming home to a clean home? Every month we will choose a “worthy person” to receive an encouraging cleaning during a stressful time in their lives.  If you are a regular client and would like to nominate a ‘worthy person” call Ashley and she will send you the information and the deadline dates for each month.  Thanks for helping us spread the SUNSHINE of encouragement by cleaning for someone.

Sunshine Clean Indy has always been a “personal” company, seeing our clients as individuals and treating them like we want to be treated.  We have depended on “word of mouth” referrals and we thank all of you.  As we go into this new season of more “technology” we will not lose the “personal”. How often should I clean my home?

Answer: Keeping your home in “daily necessary cleaning” is different from keeping it “deeper cleaning”

List for daily necessary cleaning….

If you do the following every day (or have kids do it for rewards) it will help keep the chaos in order and keep your house in order.

1. Dishes should be loaded immediately into the DW after use keeping the kitchen sink free of dishes makes everyone feel better. Kids can learn this at an early age.
2. Have everyone make their own bed, don’t be too picky or have too many pillows to arrange
3. Run a quick vacuum and always have one room free of toys, where an adult can sit and relax when needed without tripping on things
4. Living room/front room should not be used to fold clothes etc. this makes everything look sloppy.
5. Bathroom: sink/mirror/toilet are the most important. The sink can be wiped with a lysol wipe, so can the toilet quickly. The mirror can be wiped with a towel and water to get the worst off. Replace with a clean towel hung nicely.
6. I was the master of if I see it, I get it then.
   Example: if you are brushing your teeth and you see a cobweb. Get it after brushing your teeth. If your son gets the toilet dirty, squirt hand soap in the bowl and use the toilet brush (not toothbrush LOL) really quickly.

Clean and organize the entrance to your home. Make it welcoming to everyone.

• DISCARD things that do not belong in this space.
  Example: school books should be in the study area, shoes should be in a basket or in bedrooms, dog leashes (maybe hang someplace) sometimes things get dumped by the door that do not belong there.
• DECLUTTER and clean area
  Example: door or threshold needs to be wiped down, shoes need to be arranged neatly, floor cleaned
• DELIBERATELY only allow things in this space that belong here. Think what is “needed” in this space and remove the rest. Less is more.
• DECOR add something that is pretty or encouraging
  Example: an encouraging saying or colorful picture
