As a mother of 6 children (yes, 6…you read that right!), and many pets (all from different kids) through the years: I have perfected a maintenance house cleaning list of areas/things to clean to maintain a clean home. We highly recommend every 2 weeks for regular maintenance cleanings. However if you live in a high traffic home you might need house cleaning service in Indianapolis, Indiana every week. Or if you live in a low traffic home, every 4 weeks may work for you. We are also willing to come up with an individual plan for those of you that do not use every room in your home and need a rotation plan. We are here to make your life easier and better. If you have not had your home professionally cleaned, we highly recommend a first time initial house cleaning. This gets you started out on a “clean slate” on which we can maintain going forward. And let’s face it, who has time to hand wipe blinds, lights, fans and baseboards? Even IF you wanted to do it, it is very time consuming. There are better ways for you to spend your time.
Note: Basically if areas like Baseboards, lights, blinds are hand wiped to start, then they can be swiffer dusted regularly to maintain the cleanliness.
The following is our Initial House Cleaning List of basics to be adjusted as needed for your home. Also know our cleaning techs are well trained to see what needs to be done.
Initial House Cleaning List:
Basically we will clean everything in your home. A detailed checklist will be written up for your home.
The dirt level will determine if we hand wipe with a damp microfiber cloth or use a swiffer for cleaning.
During the initial cleaning things are cleaned at a deeper level. For example: cabinets are completely wiped down but then maintenance cleanings, cabinets are spot wiped as needed to maintain the clean cabinets

Windows: we will spot cleaned for pets and kids but cleaning the whole window will be a “special” request. Cleaning of windows inside and outside will be referred to our preferred vendor who is specialized in window cleaning. We are happy to set up that appointment for you.
Carpets: We will spot clean one spot on a carpet as time allows. BUT if carpets or area rugs or upholstery needs cleaning, we have an excellent vendor that we can call on your behalf. We are happy to set that up for you, just let us know.
Grout cleaning: Most of the time we have the products and tools to make it great. BUT we are happy to arrange an expert in the harder jobs.
Microwave cleaning: We will always clean the inside and outside of microwaves, even when kids do not put a cover on food they heat up.
Oven cleaning: We will always clean the outside of the oven/stove. But the inside of the oven is a special request because it requires special supplies and more time. But it will look great and not smell the next time you make cookies.
Refrigerator cleaning: We will always clean the outside of the refrigerator. But the inside is a special request. Note: please throw out any old food before we arrive. Cleaning techs are trained to know how to remove shelves and deep clean refrigerators. Note: if you want the freezer cleaned that is extra. Even cleaning the seals of crumbs and dirt so you save energy when running your refrigerator. Additional time is needed of 1.5-2.5 hours for the average refrigerator. But it will look like new!
Cleaning for blinds: the very narrow blinds, if really dirty, might be more cost effective to replace with new blinds. The wider blinds will be initially wiped off and then maintained by dusting regularly. Blinds will be evaluated on an individual basis.
